Scything Service

Contract Scyther – My expertise extends beyond conventional lawn and meadow mowing to include the effective use of a scythe in handling various environments such as scrub, woodland plantations, young bamboo, young blackthorn, Himalayan balsam, woodland rides, marshland, field margins, hedgerows, and bracken. This method proves advantageous for challenging access points, wetter terrains, other sensitive periods, or whenever a low-impact approach is essential.

I primarily scythe in Pembrokeshire, West Wales but I have provided scything services in Carmarthenshire, South West and South East England.

Want to learn to mow on your land? If you’re interested in acquiring mowing skills, I offer personalised training up to a maximum of 4 people and, if required, assistance in managing your land. This approach allows me to guide you through the foundational techniques of mowing and tailor the instruction to address any specific methods needed for your unique circumstances.
