Contract Scything

I charge £15 per hour, chargeable hours include the time for travel and breaks. I usually take three breaks throughout the day: two 15-minute ones in the morning and afternoon, plus a 30-minute lunch break.

Hedgelaying

For hedgelaying, my preferred method of charging is a day rate of £150. I can usually provide a reasonably accurate estimate for the work and offer a discount if a hand-tools only approach is practical. If a fixed price is preferred, and the hedge is free of fencing or other obstacles, I can provide a per-metre quote.
